“In just four years, we’ve built a dedicated team based in Tokyo that serves to entertain the global anime community through new and aspirational storytelling. And for the first time, our creative home in Tokyo bolsters partnerships beyond Japan to Studio Mir in Korea. With today’s announcement, our partnership is brought to a total of nine production houses. Netflix has inked non-exclusive production line partnerships with other Japanese production houses including Production I.G and bones in 2018, and Anima, Sublimation and David Production in 2019. Partnerships with best-in-class production houses enable Netflix to work with some of the best creators, promote talent development and provide support in every stage of production to create the best content for the global anime community.
